How to make a Lai

How to make a Lei!!!

A lei is the Hawaiian word for garland or wreath in this case it is made to be worn around the neck (plumerias are often used but other flowers can be used as well) as decoration, to act as jewelry or an accessorie, its perfume qualities or simply to enhance our natural beauty. Its simple this is what you will need...
Doll needles are super long and will help you when stringing your flowers.
I love these!!! Beautiful yellow and white plumerias. They have the sweetest smell in the world!
Pink and red plumerias are rich in color and scent often having a much fruitier smell then the white and yellow!
A roll a regular sewing string.
Loop your string as if you were going to sew any patch or whatever you may sew up,
Measure your string long enough so that your lei will fit over your head nice and easy, then tie a knot at the end of your string.
Now you can begin stringing your lei. Start by poking your needle through the opening at the bottom of the flower and pull your needle through the other side.
Keep stringing until you have a few inches left on your string then tie a knot with the needle and opposite end of your lei.

I really love these earrings because they are great for the Bohemian Chic Summer and fringe is super in!!

The packaging is also very elegant and can be given as a gift the way without having to wrap it up or buy a box!! and by the way I have very sensitive skin and they did not irritate my ears at all. So take a look at and do not for get to use the promo code MAV5 to get 50% off your first purchase.

Butterfly Water Marble Nails

Butterfly Water Marble Nails

So here is the look completely finished. If you watched my video on how to get this design than you will understand the preparation and dipping process of marbling ones nails.  Below is the water marbling pattern I used to achieve the butterfly look.

Here are the colors I used for this tutorial..If you have questions about the names or brand, feel free to check out the tutorial on my channel I will have everything in the description bar!

So now for the details... shhhh its a secret.. So first you begin by dropping a little bit of paint onto your pallate.

Now begin to outline the wing shape on your nail.. Be careful with the size of the dots you make and also work from a larger dot to smaller dots to create a soft elegant look.

And here is the completed nail.. now you can see exactly what I am referring to when I was talking about the size of the dots.

Hope you all enjoyed this please leave comments or questions!

Thanks for visiting!! Muah!!

The Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog. Officail Hot Dog of Los Angeles!!!

The Bacon Wrapped Hot Dog. Official Hot dog of Los Angeles!!!
If you have not had one you are definitely missing out!! it comparable to lets say the "In In Out" burger except it's a Hot Dog.. When you think about getting the best dog in L.A. you think about a bacon wrapped street dog that you find on any Downtown L.A. street corner.

Now lets just say that your not in L.A. or maybe you are but perhaps you just wanna make these bad boys at home... here's how ya do it! Take notes!

Choose your favorite kind of hot dog.

Then wrap them up with some delicious bacon!

You will need to chop up one white onion, one red and one green bell pepper.
Then fry then with a little butter or olive oil on the grill or skillet. I also like to add the bacon fat from the    hot dogs to the veggies while they are cooking. I know, I know... SUPER BAD but so GOOOOOD!!!!

Make sure you have got the necessary condiments..
The bacon wrapped bad boy is not complete with out this combination.

and don't forget the buns... you can toast these a little bit on the grill or skillet while the dogs are cooking.

Mmmmmmm so yummy.. Dang I think I'm gonna have to make these tonight!!!
